Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information amiethompson.com collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. The site is operated by Optiva Solutions Group, LLC ("I," "me"). If you have questions, email hello@amiethompson.com.
What information I collect
When you contact me. The contact form collects your first and last name, email address, the type of inquiry you choose, and your message.
When you take the Sales Confidence Assessment. The assessment collects your name, your email address, your business name if you enter it, your answers, and your scores.
When you visit the site. I use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. It collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, and your general location (city or region). Google Analytics uses cookies to do this.
Spam protection. To prevent spam, the contact form stores a scrambled version of your IP address. It can't be used to identify you.
How I use your information
- To reply to your message
- To show you your assessment results and, if you ask, send them to you by email
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site
- To protect the site from spam and misuse
I don't sell your information. I don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who helps me run the site
A few service providers handle information on my behalf, only to run the site:
- Lovable and its hosting and database providers host the site and store form and assessment submissions.
- An email delivery service sends contact form confirmations and assessment emails.
- Google Analytics measures site traffic.
If you buy a guide, the purchase happens through Kit, which has its own privacy policy.
If you contact me or take the assessment, I'll only email you about that request. I won't add you to a newsletter or marketing list unless you sign up for one yourself.
How long I keep information
I keep contact form messages and assessment results for up to 2 years. After that, they're deleted automatically. You can ask me to delete them sooner.
Your choices
- Delete or see your information. Email hello@amiethompson.com, and I'll respond within 30 days.
- Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
- Google Analytics. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Children
This site is for adults running or starting a business. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I'll update the effective date at the top of this page.
